Chi Sheng Potassium Chloride Injection (K.C.L. Injection)

Prevention and treatment of potassium deficiency. Must be diluted before intravenous administration when the concentration contains 1.5 mEq or 2 mEq of K⁺ per mL. Direct injection may cause immediate death. Adult and pediatric dosage should be individualized according to serum potassium concentration, ECG findings, body weight, and clinical condition. The maximum recommended adult dose is 400 mEq/day, with infusion rates generally not exceeding 10–20 mEq/hour, depending on the severity of hypokalemia. 10 mL and 20 mL ampoules, available in packs of 10 or 50.
